Joining CANZ
What do CANZ members receive?
»CANZONETTA: a bi-monthly newsletter which keeps members informed of news in the world of New Zealand composition, and includes concert calendars, special offers, and a comprehensive listing of competitions, workshops and calls for scores.
»CANZONA: the annual yearbook, is a 70-page archival publication which contains numerous articles of interest covering events within the preceding year.
CANZ CONTACT LIST: giving contact details for all members of CANZ.
EMAIL: CANZ members who supply their email address will also be notified of urgent opportunities, such as calls for scores and competitions.
How do I join CANZ?

Go to our direct credit page, where you can join online, and pay your subscription fee by direct credit from a New Zealand bank account.
Membership rates
All members receive CANZONA yearbook and bi-monthly CANZONETTA.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
For active composers. Voting rights.
Either: One year membership $75
Or: Three year membership $210
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
For individuals and groups interested in and supportive of New Zealand
composition, but who do not consider themselves active composers. No voting
rights.
$50 for one year.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
For those enrolled at a recognised educational institution (ID details
required). Voting rights.
$20 for one year.
UNWAGED MEMBERSHIP
For those who would normally be full members, whose family income is
less than the NZ minimum wage. Voting rights.
$30 for one year.
LIBRARY MEMBERSHIP
For schools, libraries and institutions. No voting rights.
(i) New Zealand - $55 for one year.
(ii) Overseas - NZ$70 for one year.
BENEFACTOR MEMBERSHIP
For individuals or organisations who wish to support the aims of CANZ.
No voting rights.
$105 for one year.

NB: New members who join after June may pay: one-half of the full year subscription if joining between July and September; one-quarter of the full year subscription if joining between October and December. They will receive Canzona yearbook.

In accordance with the rules, intending full/unwaged members may be requested to provide evidence of their compositional activity.
