An exploration of interdisciplinary work in contemporary composition and ethnomusicology in Asia and the Pacific. Points of focus include: performance, recording, transcription, analysis, fusion, recomposition, and issues of copyright and ownership, transmission and notation, social control, popularity and ethics.
